Ok, I'll go as you recommend. That will be ok as long as not more than 4 PC are required to hook to the hub, right? I assume the connectivity of the incoming Internet connection is using another port of entry.

The primary configuration would be its network address and things such as wether or not it will be a DHCP server. The wireless properties are a seperate step (you could do all at once but,) make sure the box has a way to be addressed after you finish.

So, basically, if I understand correctly, the current IP which is assigned dynamically to my PC, which changes occasionnaly, will then be used by the hub and the PC and the laptop will then have assigned fixed IP. From the hub, those IP will be entered and only those will have access to it, correct?
