Hi Steve:

>The only reason I mentioned selling it; if I start giving this away, I will be creating a lot of work for myself, providing debugging and support. However, the plus side to this is that everyone will benefit from a better class, myself included.

If thats a concern to you, then thats very valid. However, I suppose it depends how you distribute it. If you put it in public domain with source and a "no support provided" warning, then if people use it, then they know on what basis they use it. If they find a problem or two, then they fix it and mail you back the fixes.

>I would be willing to release this in a public domain format if someone like yourself would be willing to help out with inital testing.

Well, it would be a Codemine first, AFAIK. As for me testing it, I would be only too happy to assist. I agree that the Find dialog can be a bit restricting although it is usually OK for most simple lookups. However, a "power-find" would be terrific. What about :-
Steve Tysinger's "Power-Find" for Codemine.
That would get your name in lights and probably help out a raft of other CM developers that would benefit from your work.

What about a CDE?
