You have to have at least MDAC 2.6 to connect to SQL Server 2000. MS recomends to use MDAC 2.7.

In the InstallShield project I've got the MDAC 2.5 checked in the merge mods and the SQL driver checked in the ODBC section (no DSN). The InstallShield project compiles ok and the install on a Win2k machine goes ok. The problem is it will not connect to the SQL server. I get a "SQL system level error 126.." I cannont even manully create a DSN, the SQL driver is listed but will doing anything.
