>This problem has gone from a minor annoyance to a baffling one. I don't think it's anything with the settings on the grid. I took my grid class, plopped it on another form, and started changing it one thing at a time to be like the problem grid to see where it broke. It didn't. So I took the problem grid itself and copied the whole damn thing onto another form. It works! But it doesn't work on the original form. Bizarre.

Then the only way is to copy stuff into a blank form (grid first) object by object, so to see who's doing these nasty things to the poor grid.
In the end you'll either catch the guilty object, or have the grid working properly for no good reason.
