"Are you sure the originator of the new files added them to VSS and then did an Update Project List on their end? "Allow Mutliple Checkout Of Files" has to be turned on for the shared PJM to work properly for everyone"
Yes, we do both. Actually before it would do some of the merge stuff but not lately. I think maybe it has to do with us changing our VSS user logins to match our Windows 2000 logins and somehow that's affecting it. Originally we forgot to check in the project under the old login but then we realized it and changed to the old logins and checked the project in and went back to the new logins.
"That sounds good to me! It can be a pain while a project is still in a high state of flux, but once it settles down and doesn't have files being added/deleted, build will be a cakewalk, and you can be assured your builds always have everyone's latest and greatest changes."
The problem here is that the shadow doesn't get the latest version for us, which kind of defeats the purpose. I always have to do a get latest to the shadow folder. Am I missing something?
