>I need some advice on how to run CHM help files in Windows 98 (or Windows 98 SE). At one point they actually ran, but since reinstalling the Windows 98 I can not. I have also been unable to do so on several other machines running Win 98. I can use a hyperlink button to call up a browser to view the Chm file, but this is rather clumsy and not workable in a commercial application.

www.occn.org/TSCI think you need to install HTML help reader. I believe it is automatically installed if you have IE 5.0 or later. Or you might want to look for a file HH.EXE (I am not sure about the file name but it seems that this is the file that installs html help engine).
