I tried it - and met with marginal success. It seems that one minute it will allow me to drag a field from the Primary table to the corresponding index in the Relating table and the next minute, it won't.

Ultimately, playing around let me create all the links except one. And I don't understand it. There are three tables related in this link. I can link the left table with the center one (field to index), or I can link the right table with the center one (field to index) - but it won't let me do both at the same time. And yet, the same relationship exists between other tables in the same Data environment. Is Visual Foxpro 5.0 buggy in this sense? For some of the other links, I tried the exact same drag-and-drop procedure repeatedly; the first 10 times it wouldn't allow it (circle with slash through it), but on the following try, it did. No indication whatsoever as to what made the difference.

Any ideas?
