I think I understand what you are saying - but what's confusing me is that what you are telling me won't work is exactly what I have. Meaning that two such relationships already exist - I'm just having trouble with the third.

I have two other relationships set where Table A is linked to Table B (Field to index), and Table C is linked to Table B (field to index). If that's an invalid relationship, why did VFP allow it in the first place?
