Alan, I think the problem is that:
1) If you click this "Show Desktop" button (or use right-click version) it minimizes all running apps, including your VFP app. So far so good.
2) If you click it again (or right-click version) it restores all apps back to where they were. ie. its a toggle switch. Also no problem.
3) If you click the minimized VFP app and choose restore it also restores without problem.
4) BUT, if the VFP app tries to restore itself (ie un-minimize itself) then it does not do it properly. This is what Bela means by "...to restore the form to its original size and position
programatically"
