But when you run profiler on the second machine, it must be indicating what's taking over 30 seconds? Run it on the first machine, and then on the second machine and compare the results.

I don't have any silver bullet here, but I do know we have many, many developers running the same versions of MM VFP, and Visual FoxPro and they're not experiencing this slow-down.
