Well here's my answer: We are being realistic. I know of many people in this market (VFP) that are having a tough time finding jobs. As a matter of fact there are threads this week about that very subject. Also on the other side of that equation. I have clients that are having a difficult time finding foxpro programmers.

As for my relation with JVP. It's simple. He and I are great friends. Do I always agree with him ? Absolutely not. That was not the purpose of my post.

My original post was to point out that his speech was being edited out on another forum. That's it. Was that so hard to understand. How would you feel if your opinions were edited out because someone didn't agree with you ?

As for my track record, market, etc. Your making some pretty wild assumptions here aren't you. I stand by my track record. I have happy, repeat clients.

As soon as you can show me a list of articles, a couple of books, a Windows World Open Finalist Trophy, A Fox Excellence Awards Trophy, among others, go ahead and challenge my track record. Funny I don't recall saying that you or your development sucks. I dont really need to justify your challenge but I'll let my body of work stand for itself.

As for trhe comment CONSISTENCE=RIGHT!. You are whacked. Where did I say because he was consistent he was right. The topics we discuss here have NO WINNER, they are discussions. Any development environment, technique, architecture, market, etc.... can be discussed ad-nauseum with no clear consise winner.
