>My original post was to point out that his speech was being edited out on another forum. That's it. Was that so hard to understand. How would you feel if your opinions were edited out because someone didn't agree with you ?

If [one of] the goal of boards like wiki and UT are to enhance VFP market standing - and one [consistently] posts commentary that the VFP market is near death, how would you expect them to react. If you're selling against VFP, then, I might suggest - your either staging arguments to enhance non-VFP services in a market that is comfortable with VFP - or you're on the wrong board.

>As for my track record, market, etc. Your making some pretty wild assumptions here aren't you. I stand by my track record. I have happy, repeat clients.

I just assumed you are a VFP developer and were having problems selling your services. When I write a uck project - I don't blame it on VFP. I thought you were. But - the more I listen to you - the more I believe your not writing in VFP - which baits the point - why are you paying for a UT ticket?

>As soon as you can show me a list of articles, a couple of books, a Windows World Open Finalist Trophy, A Fox Excellence Awards Trophy, among others, go ahead and challenge my track record. Funny I don't recall saying that you or your development sucks. I dont really need to justify your challenge but I'll let my body of work stand for itself.

I am still in a learning phase - almost 20 years. I just write programs and own some stock in companies founded with some copyrights I developed. Nothing fancy like you - I am a simple bread and butter guy - not guru.

>As for trhe comment CONSISTENCE=RIGHT!. You are whacked. Where did I say because he was consistent he was right. The topics we discuss here have NO WINNER, they are discussions. Any development environment, technique, architecture, market, etc.... can be discussed ad-nauseum with no clear consise winner.

But telling members of a church or mosque that god is dead doesn't lend itself to constructive argument. Some people need to beleive. Thats what you seem to be trying to sell. If you offered complaints about the current version of VFP or bugs - it would be easy to understand. But that's not what you seem to be doing. What it does seem you're doing is telling us VFP is dead. Is that what you're doing?:-)
xxx Terry
