I have compiled my program to an EXE, and there are two instances of the EXE running on a workstation. No other application ever runs on the workstation.

Here is what happens when the program runs for a few days:
I can hear the hard drive running as though it is constantly reading and writing. The program can take a few minutes to response to keystrokes or mouse clicks. Sometimes the mouse pointer does not appear when I move it across the screen as though it is invisible. The Windows swap file swells from 4 Meg to 16 Meg. Sometimes I have to have "End Task" (Ctrl+Alt+Del), to stop the program.

Once all instances of program are terminated, the swap file returns to 4 Meg and the churning of the hard drive goes away. I always reboot the workstation, and all is OK for the first day. Then, things slow down again.

The purpose of the program is to display a calendar a monitor. The program refreshes the information on the monitor every ten seconds, and it runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The workstation is devoted to serve this application. Two instances of the program run on the workstation.

I am out of ideas. If you can give me any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again for all your help!
