Well, you have to remember this is a country that has been controlled by a violent dictator for a long time. They don't really know much about democracy. I too would like to see us out of there as soon as possible, but not until their government is up and running (after their elections). It may take a few more years to make this happen though.

I think as the country normalizes, the population will have a better opinion of the US.
