The record wouldn't get saved to the underlying table until a successful Save of the parent bizobj. I would get the error fixed and if the child record isn't getting saved when it looks like it should then it's time to look at the child view. Usually the view isn't set to updateable or the key field isn't checked for update when a record isn't written to the underlying table.

>I stepped thru the code like you recommended and when I got to a place where the GetBizObjDesc gave me an error saying 'cLastn' not found (which is used to change the title of the form) and kicked me out of stepping thru the code. Interestingly I did see that a new child record gets created with the primary key only. So since I got kicked out I am not sure where the record gets removed. Maybe because it didn't have any other data in the record is why it is getting removed?
