i would not access FoxPro data over ODBC .. it's just unneeded overhead.

you can use local/remote views to seperate data access - this approach limits you to use ODBC based datasources beside FoxPro

or seperate the data layer into CursorAdapters with DataSourceType either set to "Native" (for FoxPro) or "ODBC" / "ADO" to access SQL Servers ..
