I was just reading about those on the airplane flight Sunday night. I'm going to have to try one of those!

Biscuits and sausage gravy is about the closest thing. It's big in the US south. It's a milk/flour based gravy made from the pan drippings left from frying the sausage. Then you break up the sausage and put it in the gravy abd pour it over the biscuits.
